Fiona Hill in a lengthy Politico interview about the repressive oligarchy of Trump, Musk, and Putin that we now live under, and the direction of our country. Hill is an expert on Russia. Politico’s interviewer kind of softballs it, and Hill seems to be holding back a little, but what she describes about the nature of the relationships between these three, and their intentions, is chilling. Carole Cadwalladr Guardian article from SEVEN years ago basically telling us the Internet was now Fox News. The article’s chilling subhead is even more true today:

Tech-savvy rightwingers have been able to ‘game’ the algorithms of internet giants and create a new reality where Hitler is a good guy, Jews are evil and… Donald Trump becomes president.

Yes, that was written seven years ago. Many of us are just waking up to this reality. Musk and his cronies have made things so much worse. READ IT HERE.

Mark Jacob on the rightward lurch that all of our major news outlets are already in the process of making. This will be a disaster. Coverage of Trump will be deferential. And because the government will now be a major source of disinformation, mainstream media will look more like Fox News. READ IT HERE.
